| vishakha jg Dec, 8 2013 | I attended podar from the age of 3 ( nursery) to 11th grade. I was in podar icse and then after 10th ,I attended podar ISC for a year. While the crowd (students) was good the teachers were the pits . All of them backward , they insisted on mindless discipline and neatness, we had useless uniform inspections all the time. Only two of all the teachers I encountered there were actually good at their job . A lot of the teachers also took great pleasure in humiliating and belittling the students . They treated us more like minions than human beings. They also have double standards for girls , hugely sexist , believe girls must behave in a certain way . God forbid you socialize with boys. Its like being transported to backward India. There have been instances where teachers have actually raised their hands on students . If you want oppression , useless discipline , backward thinking and less than spectacular teaching please send your children here to be influenced by them.School is not only about learning , the experience you have here with the teachers can be compared to a municipal school. About the education , everybody learns by rote memorization here , yes the grades can be good but honestly that is not the point of an education. Also I do not see the point of doing your 11th and 12th grade here , you might as well go to a regular Junior college and focus on your entrance exams instead. After I left podar I discovered that there are schools and teachers that actually treat you like your a human being , you can only imagine my surprise. Frenandes told me more than once that she thought I should be ashamed of myself and would amount to nothing. I look back and laugh because I actually believed her back then. Honestly don't put your child through this. Bottom Line : RIPOFFF , not worth even half the fees. | |||
